Sticky Notes
Sticky Notes was an investigation into extrapolating specific ideas, emotions, or things from memories and experiences and creating abstractions through intention and mark making. I was looking at ways that I could represent the unrepresentable.
Through the print process I was able to interact with the image and idea in a contemplative manner. This allowed me to refine and extrapolate those ideas further. Sticky Notes helped create visual language that would be used in the Rite of Passage series.
